ESyou Honoree – Kimberly Adams
Posted by: admin on September 30, 2013, 2 Comments
In an effort to recognize faculty and staff members for their outstanding service, Dr. Welsh has launched the ESyou campaign beginning with the fall semester, 2013. Each week the ESyou campaign will feature a different faculty or staff member who has demonstrated excellence in student-centered service. The purpose of the campaign is to showcase those employees who make an impact on our students every day, and for the students to get to know them.
Congratulations to our next honoree, Kimberly Adams. When you see Kimberly or any of our honorees around campus this year, please recognize their exemplary service by introducing yourself and thanking them personally. There is no greater acknowledgment!

Dr. Adams is a real professional. I have had the opportunity to study under her for several semesters. She is currently my thesis advisor. She has helped me so much since I first sat in one of her classes. I had to learn to write all over again. Since coming from a legal background, in which the writings that were required, would just concern the facts and not my opinion, I have had to make some major adjustments. But she did not give up on me. She kept encouraging me. Thank you, Dr. Adams. ESU honors you and I salute you.I hope to pass on what I have learned from you. That is the true mark of a leader, being able to pass on what you have learned.

I had Dr. Adams about two years ago for my American Government course. She was such a great teacher. American Government was a gen ed for me but it was one of the most interesting courses I’ve taken. Dr. Adams knew how to keep her students intrigued. She was an outstanding professor and I fully support the decision to give her this award, she definitely deserves it.
