Attention All Student Organizations: Your 2012 – 2013 Officer Update Card and Membership Audit has been sent to your adviser via email. In order to access your accounts, you must submit your officer card. In order to maintain your recognition as an organization, all completed information must be received by Renee Keiper (via email) by Friday, September 21. If your adviser did not receive the information, please contact the Student Activity Association (SAA) Office.

An Officer Information/Training Session For All Student Organizations, Wednesday, September 12, 6:00 p.m. in Stroud Hall Room 117. The workshop will cover important information on maintaining your student organization recognition, policies and procedures that will assist your organization to operate effectively. A Note from The Graduate College – Application for Graduation Master and Doctoral Degree Candidates: The deadline to apply for Winter 2012 Graduation for all master and doctoral candidates is September 15. Application forms can be found on-line or at the Graduate College which is located in Zimbar-Liljenstein Hall, Room 154. The graduation fee is $30 and is non-refundable. Checks should be made out to East Stroudsburg University.

Student Activities

Participate in Monroe County United Way Day of Caring Program, Thursday, September 13. For those students who require transportation, the SAA van will transport you to the site. The actual location is being determined by the United Way based on project requests by local nonprofit social agencies in Monroe County. This is an effort on behalf of the Office of Student Activities to encourage students to develop a sense of civic responsibility. Extended Learning Program

Announcing ESU’s New Evening Degree Completion Opportunity in Psychology. Courses Start in October – Register Now!

Do you work during the day and have trouble scheduling courses? Are you only able to attend school part-time but would like to progress through your degree faster? Consider pursuing a BS in Psychology through our Extended Learning accelerated, degree completion program geared toward transfer students or ESU students with most general education courses complete. With this program, you can complete the requirements for a BS in Psychology with an applied concentration two nights per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) in less than two years. The degree is flexible and will prepare you for a career in a wide variety of settings including government, health care, business or education. It’s not too late to register!
