The Director of Web Services now offers all faculty the use of WordPress to create and manage your personal websites. WordPress is among the most popular open-source Content Management Systems (CMS) and is used extensively in both academia and industry. WordPress is designed to provide an easy way to create interactive websites with dynamic content (blogs, RSS, images, video, audio, etc) with the ability to manage your menus without the use of an HTML editor (i.e. Dream Weaver, Front Page). Also website development experience is not required.
The process for moving your content is nothing more than copying and pasting text from your current website into WordPress. Your multimedia (images, videos, audio, etc.) will need to be uploaded into the Media Library inside of WordPress.

Once you have been notified that your site has been created, the URL (or web address) will be https://quantum.esu.edu/faculty/1st initial last name (Example: https://quantum.esu.edu/faculty/slabadie).
