ESU Names Jack Rader Jr. Legislative Fellow for 2017

East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania announced the selection of its 2017 Legislative Fellow, State Representative Jack Rader Jr., at a breakfast held in his honor on Friday, September 15. ESU Reports Enrollment Growth in Graduate Student, Freshman Population

At the beginning of the third week of the fall semester, East Stroudsburg University reports graduate student and new freshman enrollment up, with total enrollment at 6,804 students. Overall enrollment decreased by 26 students from last year, a 7.6 percent decrease in new transfer student enrollment and a 24 percent decrease in the number of freshmen from New York, offset  the enrollment increases.

ESU Brings Record Crowd at Annual Economic Summit

In collaboration with East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania (ESU), business representatives of Monroe County met at ESU’s Mattioli Recreation Center for the fifth annual Economic Outlook Summit on September 8, 2017. This year’s event brought the largest crowd in the event’s history, 290 people. The keynote address was given by Senator Mario Scavello, 40th District, and Senator John Blake, 22nd District, and outlined critical issues facing Monroe County.
